JUST IN: Resident doctors suspend nationwide strike

National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has suspended its nationwide strike.

NARD President, Dr Aliyu Sokomba, announced this on Thursday evening.

Dr Aliyu Sokomba stated that the discussions with the Federal Government on how to resolve the issues continue on Friday by 8 am.

Recalls that the meeting between the two parties on Wednesday in Abuja ended in a deadlock with the government threatening to revoke the residency programme.
